Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet’s teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly – above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. We offer free dental examinations to determine the grade of your pets teeth from 1-4.
Internal Medicine
We cover basic internal medicine, but also consult with, and refer clients to, board-certified specialists including Cardiologists, Ophthalmologists, Neurologists, Dermatologists, Gastroenterologists, Oncologists, Endocrinologists, etc.
Microchipping
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.
Pain Management
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.
Bathing
Bathing removes dirt, debris and odors which will help your pet feel fresh and revitalized. We have special shampoos for various skin types and conditions. Grooming services offered include bathing and comfort grooms. Comfort grooms include bath, nail trim, comfort clip around eye’s feet and rear, and express anal glands for any breed.
Boarding
Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can’t be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime to keep them happy and active. Our boarding area offers air conditioned kennels with personal run area for each pet.

In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is backed up by our resuscitation unit which is stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. After hour emergency will be directed to our answering service. At that time they will contact our Doctor if available or reference you to another clinic available.
End of Life Care
As much as we would like to enjoy them forever, there will inevitably come a time to say goodbye to our beloved pets. Euthanasia offers a peaceful controlled option which maintains a pet’s comfort and dignity. We also offer cremation with care to return remains as requested.
Large Animal
Our facility has a large animal area to make it easy to unload, work with, and reload your large animals. Dr. Ellsworth prefers to work all large animals at his clinic. Please call for appointment.
Learn MorePrescription Diets
We carry Hill’s Science Diet and Purina Pro Plan quality foods.
Adopt-A-Pet
We house the city’s stray and lost animals in hopes of finding the owner. If the pet is not claimed, then adoption is available.
Learn MoreUltrasound
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.
Nutritional Counseling
Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.
Behavioral Medicine
Illness doesn’t always have a physical cause. Our veterinarian has special training in animal behavior and can help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client.
